Homecoll celebrates its first year anniversary
04 February 2010
Homecoll is celebrating its first year anniversary success and has already proven itself to be recognised as one of the highest performers within the consumer debt sector, achieving in 6 months what it had planned to accomplish in its first 2 years, reporting significant increases in placement market share and month-on-month client growth.
One of the first agencies to use Homecoll was a large credit management and debt recovery services company. The company wanted in place the optimum competitive environment amongst its panel of outsourced doorstep agents.
In its league tables Homecoll has come top on all three of its debt categories against its competitors. "This is an excellent position to be in after a year of operating our Homecoll service", said Philips Assistant Director, Craig Alewood.
The company’s Client Operations Manager commented: “Since we have used Homecoll it has proven itself to have risen to the challenge. Liquidation rates on the vast majority of our major clients and debt types, from salvage banking and finance debt purchases, through to the utilities and telecoms sectors, in which our expertise has been manifest for the last decade, Homecoll are maximising the competition amongst our panel. Ease of contact and understanding of a client's requirements are always key factors in ensuring that a new relationship runs smoothly and successfully and we have found that any ad hoc requests, such as bespoke campaigns, are met with the appropriate speed and enthusiasm.”
Unlike many agencies Homecoll will not compromise on the quality of its service and does not outsource any of its components. This includes the main collections cycle stages of: lettering; SMS; telephone calls and visits.
Currently Homecoll accepts tertiary debt for a multitude of its clients within the consumer divisions of financial services, telecoms, utilities and retail. In six of its client’s league tables where performance is measured, Homecoll are number one across all outsourced doorstep agents. As a result, in two league tables, it has proved commercially viable for its client to cease utilising other providers and use Homecoll as the sole operative due to Homecoll’s performance being far superior to that of its competitors.
Typically Homecoll is achieving 300 per cent more than its rivals in terms of a percentage and placements are constantly increasing.
A large retail-lending client recently stated: “Homecoll was initially placed for a trial of 6,000 accounts at tertiary placement. Amazingly in the first month they collected six times more than their challenger. Homecoll now receives regular placements and with current performance this will only increase over the current months.”
Future plans will see Homecoll expanding to new offices in Leeds, increased Business Development and Operational staff and new additional services being offered later in 2010.
